银叶真藓(Bryum argenteum)从赤道到两极均有生长,可在极地、高山、沙漠、草原等不同的生态系统中分布,其在极其干燥状态下呈“干死”的银灰色,而遇水分秒间快速复苏,呈现鲜活的绿色,本研究选取了来自于古尔班通古特沙漠生物结皮中的耐干藓类银叶真藓,通过对银叶真藓的全基因组测序和De Novo组装,深入探讨其在干旱、寒冷等恶劣环境下的适应机制,数据集包括基因组组装文件(Fasta格式)。此研究有助于理解银叶真藓极端生存能力,并为其遗传资源保护提供支持。

Distributed across all latitudes from the equator to the poles, *Bryum argenteum* can thrive in diverse ecosystems including polar regions, alpine areas, deserts and grasslands. Under extreme desiccation, it appears silvery-gray as if desiccated to death, but rapidly revives within seconds upon rehydration to exhibit vibrant green color. In this study, desiccation-tolerant *Bryum argenteum* samples collected from biological soil crusts in the Gurbantunggut Desert were selected for whole-genome sequencing and de novo assembly, aiming to thoroughly investigate its adaptive mechanisms under harsh environments such as drought and cold stress. The dataset includes genome assembly files in FASTA format. This study facilitates understanding of the extreme survivability of *Bryum argenteum* and provides support for the conservation of its genetic resources.
