Fully kinetic particle-in-cell simulation of symmetric magnetic reconnection with cold inflow populations. The code solves a Vlasov-Maxwell system in 2 spatial dimensions and 3 velocity dimensions, and outputs electric and magnetic fields, plasma current densities, and plasma densities. Used for manuscript titled 'On the presence and thermalization of cold ions in the exhaust of antiparallel symmetric reconnection' by Norgren et al., 2021 (submitted for review).
