Streamflow analysis for the Namoi subregion

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from streamflow data provided by the NSW Office of Water. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nAnnual flows (GL/year) were derived for a number of Namoi gauging stations. They are created from synthesised data based on the New South Wales Office of Water (NOW) Hydstra surface water database.\n\n\n\nData was extracted from the Hydstra format to .csv files for surface water sites within the Namoi region. \n\n\n\nQuality codes are explained in the Data Quality Codes file.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nDaily streamflow data for sites extracted from the Hydstra surface water database within the Namoi subregion were accumulated for each year to produce the annual flow and the results plotted.\n\n\n\nThe annual flow data for each year was subtracted from the mean annual flow to produce difference from the mean for each year.
