Dataset for "Orientation-Dependent Efficiency of Façade and Roof Glazing in Cold-Climate Classrooms"

This dataset contains the synthesis tables associated with the manuscript “Orientation-Dependent Efficiency of Façade and Roof Glazing in Cold-Climate Classrooms: A Climate-Based Daylight Performance Study”. The dataset includes climate-based daylight simulation results evaluating Window-to-Wall Ratio (WWR) and Skylight-to-Roof Ratio (SRR) variations across eight façade orientations in a parametric classroom model representative of contemporary educational construction in Quebec, Canada. Evaluated metrics include:- Spatial Daylight Autonomy (sDA300/50%)- Annual Sunlight Exposure (ASE1000,250h)- Useful Daylight Illuminance (UDI300–3000)- Mean illuminance- Minimum illuminance- Daylight uniformity Simulations were performed using ClimateStudio (Radiance-based) within Rhino 8 using the Mirabel, Quebec TMY climate file. The uploaded spreadsheets contain the processed synthesis data used for figure generation and comparative analysis within the manuscript.
