ATAC-seq data from the demosponge Amphimedon queenslandica swimming larvae exposed to constant light and natural light conditions.

This dataset contains ATAC-seq data generated from dissociated cells of biologically replicated individual larvae of the demosponge Amphimedon queenslandica under different light conditions. These16 ATAC-seq libraries reveal changes in chromatin accessibility under two different light conditions (constant light and natural light). This dataset thus provides insights into animal gene regulation and enhances our understanding of the molecular mechanisms controlling competence of settlement in a basal animal. This resource will be beneficial for researchers interested in gene regulation, chromatin dynamics and life cycle evolution, and helping to understand the environmental cues that guide larval settlement.
