Hyb-Seq (with Angiosperm353 probe set) of Cannabis sativa

As part of the WECANN project, our goal was to explore the morphological, phytochemical, and genetic diversity of Cannabis sativa and its traditional uses. To investigate the genetic structure of the species, we collected wild-growing individuals and landraces from various regions across Eurasia and Africa. We employed the Hyb-Seq sequencing method, utilizing the Angiosperm353 probe set, on both silica-dried and herbarium samples. The resulting dataset was then analyzed through phylogenomic and population genomic approaches to gain insights into the plant's genetic diversity.
