aPIC (0.1 mg/mL), FSL-1 (0.1 ug/mL), FLAG (5 ug/mL), PGN (0.1 mg/mL) or a medium control (ctrl, 10 uL) was added to the apical surface of V11I d 10 multilayer cultures. Apical sampling (100 uL) was completed 6 h later for cytokine analyses.bSelected pro-inflammatory cytokines (top), chemokines (middle) and anti-inflammatory (bottom) cytokines are presented out of the 27 tested using the multiplex array system.
