Open data for honey and food authentication: a catalogue of 38 spectroscopic, hyperspectral and physicochemical datasets across five analytical modalities
收藏资源简介:
This is the supplementary dataset catalogue for the review article "Open Data for Honey and Food Authentication: A Landscape Review of Datasets Across FiveAnalytical Modalities". The catalogue records 38 spectroscopic, hyperspectral and physicochemical datasets (37 unique studies) for honey and food authentication, reported between 1996 and2026 across five analytical modalities: FTIR spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, NIR and VIS-NIR spectroscopy, physicochemical profiling, and multimodal fusion.Twenty-seven datasets concern honey directly; eleven cover other food matrices and are included as deposition templates. For each dataset the catalogue records the modality, food matrix, sample composition, spectral range, file format, repository, licence scope, sample origin, access status (public, on request, or private), the basis on which that access status was assigned, and scoring against four measurable FAIR proxies. Contents: Read Me - column definitions, FAIR proxy definitions, and scope notes. All Datasets - the 38-entry catalogue across 32 columns.Summary by Modality - counts and FAIR proxies, computed with live formulas over thecatalogue rather than entered by hand.Excluded - 14 records assessed and set aside, each with a reason and reason category.Research Gaps and Opportunities - the eight gaps identified, with suggested actionsand deposition targets.Raw HSI Formats Guide - file formats found in the catalogue, reading tools, and thedatasets using each.Candidates for Verification - 23 records identified by citation chaining whose dataavailability could not be confirmed within this survey.figures.py - regenerates all four figures of the article directly from the workbook. Access statuses were assessed at the time of writing and may change as authorsdeposit or withdraw data. No new experimental data were generated; all catalogueddatasets remain the property of their original creators under their own terms.
