This report sets out the findings of an investigation that was undertaken on behalf of the NSW Department of Planning and Environment – Environment and Heritage Group (DPE-EHG) into the source of the floodwater that resulted in the fatal and damaging flooding that was experienced in the township of Eugowra on the morning of 14 November 2022. The report also sets out the results of preliminary hydrologic and hydraulic modelling that was undertaken to improve the understanding of the magnitude and frequency of the flood, as well as the nature of flooding that was experienced in the town.
