The annotation files of Castanopsis orthacantha genome assembly

The first telomere-to-telomere (T2T) genome assembly of <i>Castanopsis orthacantha </i>was reported in this study, an ecologically and economically significant keystone tree species endemic to subtropical evergreen forests of southwestern China. Integrating multi-platform sequencing data (Illumina, PacBio HiFi, ONT ultra-long reads) and Hi-C scaffolding, we generated a chromosome-scale assembly spanning 893.28 Mb with a contig N50 of 76.19 Mb. The annotation files (annotation file in gff format, cds fasta file, and protein fasta file) of Castanopsis orthacantha genome assembly have been uploaded.
