The present repository presents the data analyzed in the study "Brain processing of musical features in musicians and non-musicians: a pilot study" by Passarotto et al. (in review).
It contains electroencephalographic data from five pianists (P), five violinists (V), and five non-musicians (NM) recorded while listening to four audio recordings (track). Nine musical features from the audio recordings are also reported. EEG data was recorded using a 32-channel system and relative power (EEG_relative_power) in the delta [1-4] Hz, theta [4.5-7.5] Hz, alpha [8-12] Hz and beta [13-30] Hz bands were computed (EEG_band) for each channel (EEG_ch).
