Collection-2 U.S. Landsat Analysis Ready Data (ARD) Level-2 Tiles Albers Equal Area Projection

'Landsat ARD initially became available after the release of Landsat Collection 1 in 2016, and serve as the foundation for the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center Land Change Monitoring, Assessment, and Projection (LCMAP) initiative. The December 2020 release of Landsat Collection 2 products has allowed for the processing of Landsat U.S. ARD products using Collection 2 inputs. Landsat Collection 2 U.S. ARD will become available mid-2021. Landsat ARD are available for the conterminous United States (CONUS), Alaska and Hawaii. For CONUS, ARD is available from 1982-present. The Alaska and Hawaii histograms display the available Landsat data used to create ARD products for these states. Landsat 1-5 Multispectral Scanner (MSS) feasibility studies are ongoing and will be shared with the Landsat user community upon their completion. Landsat 9 U.S. ARD products will become available after data processing systems produce the newly acquired data to the ARD tiles. Landsat 9 is scheduled to launch September 2021. Global Landsat ARD specifications are being developed. Information will be provided when details become available.'
