Dataset S5

Raw velocity seismograms for direct P and S phases propagated through the simplified hexagonally anisotropic subduction zone model. Seismograms are in SAC format (see SAC manual; http://ds.iris.edu/files/sac-manual/). Arrival times for P determined via waveform cross-correlation are stored in the appropriate SAC header. The TauP predicted S arrival time through IASP91 is also stored for reference. SAC files are written individually for each station and component for a particular event. The filenames follow the format EVT.STN.X where 'EVT' is a unique numeric event ID (see Dataset S2), 'STN' is the station name (see Dataset S1), and 'X' is 'N', 'E', or 'Z' corresponding to the north, east, or vertical seismogram component.
