15-Min Water Level Data collected at Tanglewood Biological Station, Alabama

This dataset contains water level data calculated from pressure transducers installed in piezometers and surface water monitoring locations across a gradient of wetlands at the Tanglewood Biological Station in Akron, Alabama. This research was performed as part of the 'Investigating Hydrologic Connectivity as a Driver of Wetland Biogeochemical Response to Flood Disturbances' project, and water level data will be used to support further analyses of groundwater-surface water interaction and inundation metrics at the site. For each year of data collection, Water Level Monitoring sites are grouped into 9. csv files by location and wetland type, and additional information about each site location can be found in the site_descriptions.csv file. Methodology for installing pressure transducers and converting raw pressure data to water level can be found in the TBS_Methods.csv file, with additional methodological details in the offset_calc.csv and the wl_depth.r file. Water level data is reported as water depth relative to the ground surface in centimeters.
