Dataset for: Inter-Organizational Collaboration Network During the 2019 Aq Qala Flood Crisis (Iran)

This dataset supports the study “Organizational Ties in Times of Crisis: Evaluating Inter-Agency Collaboration Through Social Network Analysis,” which examines inter-organizational collaboration during the 2019 Aq Qala flood crisis in Iran. The dataset includes: A cleaned corpus of 1,305 flood-related news articles collected from major Iranian news agencies between March 19, 2019 and June 5, 2019. A standardized list of 86 identified organizations derived from the official Iranian government registry (iran.gov.ir). The organization name normalization lookup table used to unify synonyms, abbreviations, and Persian/English variants. The weighted co-occurrence matrix representing inter-organizational collaboration based on news co-mentions. PMESII classification of organizations (Political, Military, Economic, Social, Information, Infrastructure). The co-occurrence matrix was used to construct the weighted social network analyzed in Gephi. Edge weights represent raw co-mention counts between organizations. Centrality measures and community detection analyses were computed based on this matrix. The dataset is provided for transparency, reproducibility, and further research in crisis management and inter-organizational network analysis.
