The Canberra Gay Community Periodic Survey data results from a cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men recruited through a range of gay community sites in Canberra. Data were collected on types of sexual relationships and number of partners, anal and oral intercourse, unprotected anal intercourse, testing for HIV and other STIs, HIV serostatus, recreational drug use, and demographic characteristics such as sexual identity and age. Sample Population: 270 gay and homosexually-active men from Canberra. Method of Data Collection: Self-completion. Kind of Data: Survey. Sampling Procedures: Men were recruited the Canberra springOUT Festival Fair Day, gay social venues, a sex-on-premises venue and a sexual health clinic. Time Dimensions: Repeated cross-sectional study.
