The data collected included sociographic data on the respondent's background, etc., size of farm business, entrepreneurial behaviour, political attitudes and behaviour, relationship to employees and local community, perceptions of rural change, etc. The study also examined the role of the 'farming interest' in local politics via a study of decision-making in Suffolk.
