Code and datasets for "Irreversibility of extreme precipitation intensity in global monsoon areas under multiple carbon neutrality scenarios"

This repository contains the analysis scripts, plotting routines, and processed datasets used in the study Irreversibility of extreme precipitation intensity in global monsoon areas under multiple carbon neutrality scenarios. Datasets: Climate model simulation output from UKESM1, including Rx1day (extreme precipitation index), sea surface temperature (SST), and moisture budget variables. Analysis modules: Quantification of irreversibility between CO₂ ramp-up (P_Up) and ramp-down (P_Down) phases. Visualization routines: Scripts to generate time series, histograms for the sample All scripts are fully documented. Users can reproduce the study results when combining these scripts with the original raw datasets referenced in the article’s Open Research section.
