Analysis Code and Derived Data for "Subsurface Chlorophyll-Fluorescence and Low-Oxygen Structure Along a Freshwater-Stratification Gradient in the Northern Bay of Bengal"
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the analysis code, derived analysis tables, and documentation supporting the manuscript “Subsurface Chlorophyll-Fluorescence and Low-Oxygen Structure Along a Freshwater-Stratification Gradient in the Northern Bay of Bengal,” prepared for submission to Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans. The study analyzes publicly available hydrographic, chlorophyll-fluorescence, and dissolved-oxygen observations from 141 CTD casts collected during R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruise TN445 in the northern Bay of Bengal during the 2025 southwest monsoon. The repository includes code and derived products used to calculate the freshwater-stratification score, density-based stratification diagnostics, subsurface chlorophyll-fluorescence maximum depths, the upper low-oxygen horizon, SCM-to-low-oxygen separation, primary statistical models, sensitivity analyses, repeated-occupation diagnostics, and regional comparisons with Copernicus Marine GLORYS12V1 reanalysis. Original TN445 observations are not redistributed here because they are publicly archived through Rolling Deck to Repository. The repository provides source-data access information and a documented workflow for reproducing the reported analyses and figures. External data sources include Rolling Deck to Repository cruise and instrument archives and the Copernicus Marine Global Ocean Physics Reanalysis (GLOBAL_MULTIYEAR_PHY_001_030; MERCATOR GLORYS12V1). This repository is intended to support transparency, peer review, and reproducibility of the associated manuscript.
