Data set of trace elements in surface sediments of main rivers and intertidal zones in the Jiaozhou Bay in 2015

Trace elements were analyzed in surface sediments from 76 stations in 12 rivers and the intertidal zone around the Jiaozhou Bay. The dataset consists 8 trace elements concentration including arsenic (As), chromium (Cr), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd), cobalt (Co), lead (Pb) and nickel (Ni), and geoaccumulation index（Igeo），enrichment factor（EF），contamination factor (CF)，and pollution load index(PLI). The dataset can provide data support for studying coastal and river management, pollution assessment in sediment, ecological security assessment and trace element transport research.
