Electricity demand response customers in the United States 2022, by sector

In 2022, there were around 10.3 million customers enrolled in demand response electricity programs in the United States. Approximately 10 million of these customers came from the residential sector. Demand response aims to achieve a reduction of electricity use during peak times by providing incentives to customers.
