Data Extraction Dataset for "Machine Learning and Deep Learning Approaches for Crop Recommendation: A PRISMA-Guided Systematic Review and Quantitative Synthesis"

This dataset contains structured extraction data from 143 studies included in a PRISMA-guided systematic review titled “Machine Learning and Deep Learning Approaches for Crop Recommendation: A PRISMA-Guided Systematic Review and Quantitative Synthesis.” The dataset includes bibliographic metadata, study objectives, dataset characteristics, input features, applied machine learning and deep learning models, evaluation metrics, reported performance values, geographic regions, explainable AI usage, and recommended crops. Data were systematically extracted from studies retrieved via Web of Science, Scopus, and IEEE Xplore. This dataset formed the basis for the comparative and thematic analyses presented in the main manuscript.
