Raw ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data from the Guaymas Basin acquired during the Atlantis expedition AT03-46 (2000)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Atlantis expedition AT03-46 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Stephen Craig Cary). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Swath Bathymetry, and Sidescan data that have not been processed. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): LEXEN: Pyrite, A Crucial Mineral and Surface for Microbial Life in Extreme Hydrothermal Environments, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE97-14302 and OCE97-29784.
