At present, although progress has been made in characterizing the individual effects of stress or avian pathogenic Escherichia coli infection, the response of avian spleen to the combined challenges of stress and infection remains largely unknown. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the mechanisms of stress-induced changes in spleen immune function in broilers.
