USDA-NRCS SSURGO engineering interpretations governing infiltration-based stormwater practice and conventional septic drainfield feasibility, attached to all 81,037 soil map unit polygons in the nine Northern Virginia jurisdictions and rolled up to 54 USGS HUC12 subwatersheds. No acre of Northern Virginia rates "Not limited" for shallow infiltration; 53.3 percent of land rates "Severely limited" and 87.6 percent of NRCS-rated acreage is "Very limited" for septic tank absorption fields.Produced by the Keystone GIS Northern Virginia Autonomous GIS Research Program.
