Pseudomonas simiae strain:K-Hf-L9 Genome sequencing

Pseudomonas simiae K-Hf-L9 is a Gram-negative bacterium isolated from the rhizosphere of field pea grown in western Canada. This isolate has excellent potential for agricultural applications due to its ability to suppress aphanomyces root rot caused by Aphanomyces euteiches. Here we present the complete genome sequence of Pseudomonas simiae K-Hf-L9. Its 6.2 Mb genome consists of genes that are essential for disease suppression and increased agricultural productivity.
