This database provides annotation of enhancers in the human hg19 genome. The enhancers were predicted based on at least three independent high throughput experimental datasets (e.g. histone modification, eRNA, transcription factor binding and DHS). Currently, the database contains 2,534,123 enhancers for 76 cell lines and 29 tissues. The database allows users to (1) examine the experimental evidences for the predicted enhancers in a given genomic region; (2) compare the enhancers across different cell/tissue types; (3) identify the enhancers associated with a gene; (4) predict the genes regulated by a set of cis-regulatory elements.
本数据库提供人类hg19基因组中增强子的注释信息。本数据库收录的增强子均基于至少三组独立的高通量实验数据集预测得到,实验类型包括组蛋白修饰、增强子RNA(eRNA)、转录因子结合位点以及DNase I超敏位点(DHS)。目前,该数据库涵盖了76种细胞系与29种组织中共计2,534,123个增强子。该数据库支持用户完成以下四项操作:(1) 检索特定基因组区域内预测增强子的实验验证证据;(2) 对比不同细胞/组织类型间的增强子分布差异;(3) 定位与特定基因相关联的增强子;(4) 预测由一组顺式调控元件所调控的靶基因。
