Supplementary Data for: A valence catalogue for Norwegian

NorVal is a resource representing the valence potential of more than 6300 verb lemmas of Norwegian, distinguished according to 300 different frame types. Since some verb lemmas take more than one valence frame, one format of lexical entries consists of a lemma and one single frame, as a pair; such an entry format we call a 'lexval'. Another format of entries, representing lemmas, construes the valence of a lemma as formally a set of lexvals; such a set representation is called a 'valpod'. NorVal consists of files, on text form, for both types of entries. The system counts about 15,750 lexvals, and while there are as many valpods as there are lemmas, more than 3360 valpods are multi-membered. Frame types are represented in terms of a modular one-string coding system called 'Construction Labeling' (cf. Hellan and Dakubu 2010, Dakubu and Hellan 2017, Hellan 2019, 2020a). The enclosed files illustrate all of these features, including files of lexvals and valpods with initial letter \"t\", a full overview of the 300 frame types, and some files with topic-oriented information.
