This data package contains core sample organic carbon (OC) and inorganic carbon (IC) , pore water dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), temperature depth profiles, subsurface carbon dioxide fluxes, 13C , depth and season-dependent respiration rates from incubated samples. This field‐based study spans a depth of 7 meters through the unsaturated zone into groundwater, and was done to explore depth-resolved carbon fluxes. Dissolved organic carbon flux and other environmental mechanisms are characteristic of arid‐ and semiarid climate regions, and can be incorporated to improve carbon flux predictions.
