Genome sequencing project for genomic taxonomy and phylogenomics of Lonicera macranthoides. Lonicera macranthoides

Lonicera macranthoides, a wide-spread member of the Caprifoliaceae (honeysuckle) family, is usually applied for treatment of heat-clearing, detoxifying, and treat the exopathogenic wind-heat. Secondary metabolites contribute to its pharmacological activities. To identify genes involving in important metabolites biosynthesis, we report a chromosome-level genome assembly of L. macranthoides.
