This dataset and accompanying scripts support SHY WP4 / Task 4.2. The upload dataset provides: (i) post-processed numerical results obtained using the MPC-like spectral constrained optimal control implementation for Wavepiston, and (ii) scripts to reproduce the performance metrics plots used to document controller and Wavepiston behaviour across the representative North Gran Canaria wave-climate (conforming a potential deployment site). In addition, this repository includes the main simulation configuration script used to initialise and execute the numerical optimisation workflow, defining controller settings, constraints, solver parameters and wave-realisation settings. Together, the files uploaded enable inspection, reproduction, and interpretation of the performance results reported in D4.2. The results cover four Wavepiston configurations (C1–C4) that differ in restoring capability (with or without an external spring) and PTO power-flow behaviour (passive/unidirectional operation versus reactive/bidirectional reference cases). This configuration set supports the sensitivity analysis of optimal control performance with respect to the Wavepiston distinctive design features carried out in Deliverable D4.2. The evaluated performance metrics, which can potentially inform LCOE-related design considerations that are central to SHY, include: absorbed power, peak-to-mean power ratio, RMS and peak stroke utilisation, RMS and peak PTO force, and climate-weighted energy production indicators. For each sea state and configuration, the constrained optimisation problem is solved using multiple stochastic realisations of the incident wave elevation, thereby enabling assessment of the consistency of the resulting performance metrics and systematic verification of constraint satisfaction. This procedure supports the evaluation of the robustness of the proposed dynamic passive control strategy across a realistic wave climate. The files provide traceable evidence of the controller software workflow used in D4.2 and enable independent inspection and reproduction of the reported outputs.
