Cholangiocarcinoma ( CCA ) is a malignant tumor originating from the bile duct epithelium. According to the location of the tumor, it is divided into three subtypes : intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, hilar cholangiocarcinoma and distal cholangiocarcinoma. Although CCA is still considered a rare type of cancer, its global morbidity and associated mortality have remained high over the past few decades.In addition, the growth of this tumor is relatively hidden and difficult to detect at an early stage, limiting the patient 's choice of potential replacement therapy ( only surgical resection ). Accurate early diagnosis of CCA is particularly important for high-risk groups, namely primary sclerosing cholangitis. At present, the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma is difficult. Because most patients with advanced diseases cannot receive therapeutic surgical resection, complete surgical removal is difficult to achieve even in operable patients, and the recurrence rate is still high.Therefore, biomarkers can be used for early disease diagnosis, disease prognosis evaluation and drug development and treatment monitoring of CCA. In recent decades, considerable progress has been made in understanding the molecular and genetic pathogenesis of cholangiocarcinoma. The evolution of this knowledge has promoted the development and research of the diagnosis and treatment of cholangiocarcinoma, and some biomarkers have shown great potential for disease progression and even survival.In order to integrate and evaluate numerous research resources and results, we conducted a literature review and information extraction analysis to construct a database of biomarkers for cholangiocarcinoma to assist in the study of biomarkers in cholangiocarcinoma-related diseases and supplement the current collection of biomarkers, including the number and classification of data included. It covers the full name of biomarkers, cancer type, reduction / reduction, sensitivity, specificity, technology, cell line, sample type, case, region, reference year, reference title and corresponding reference website.The interface supports the query function of the above cholangiocarcinoma biomarkers. Therefore, all of these evidences emphasize the need for accurate non-invasive biomarkers for CCA as a way to establish a monitoring plan to detect CCA early in high-risk populations and provide faster diagnosis for sporadic CCA, ultimately reducing cancer-related mortality.
