Share of mobile users who shared their location online Japan 2019, by age

According to a survey conducted in December 2019, almost 25 percent of Japanese smartphone and tablet users aged 70 years and above had disclosed their location online. Next to those in their seventies, the share was highest among those aged between 60 and 69 years old. A breakdown of all surveyed types of information showed that the most commonly disclosed information among respondents was the user's gender.
