Coastal Erosion Hazard Areas

This data set was developed to represent Natural Protective Feature Areas (NPFA) and Structural Hazard Areas (SHA) as depicted on official CEHA maps.This dataset is for use only as an initial screening tool.

The CEHA Maps filed with the municipality are the official documents containing the legally defined NPFA and SHA boundary lines. Please use the updated, official CEHA map on file at the local municipality, county, or the Coastal Erosion Management section when making decisions on or planning any regulated activities near the CEHA jurisdiction. Public inquiries regarding the CEHA line should be referred to the official CEHA maps.
