In order to analyze functional targets of novel hypoxia inducible transcription factor GLIS1 in breast cancer cells, RNA-seq were performed. Specific siRNA for GLIS1 (siGLIS1) or non-specific control siRNA (siNS) transfected BT-474 breast cancer cell lines under normoxic or hypoxic conditions, or FLAG- or FLAG-GLIS1 expression plasmid vector transfected MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell lines under normoxic conditions were used for these analyses.
