This repository accompanies the study “Constructive Patterns for Human-Centered Tech Hiring”. Through 22 semi-structured interviews with early-career software engineer and thematic analysis of over 470 candidate experiences, the study identifies 22 Constructive Patterns (CPs) that characterize human-centered hiring practices, such as transparent job advertisements, specific feedback, respectful communication, and framing recruitment as a two-way process.
