Atrial Arrhythmias in COVID-19 and Influenza

Data of 8,559 patients (6,927 COVID-19 and 1,632 influenza patients) who were admitted to the hospitals in Southeast Michigan. Patients were stratified into three groups based on the status of atrial arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter). The retrospective timeframe is January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2019 for influenza patients and March 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021 for COVID-19 patients.
