AN EVALUATION OF THE MEDICO ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF COVID 19

Covid 19 is a new type of corona virus that causes illness in people by affecting their lungs and therefore, their breathing. In severe cases Covid 19 infection may cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, multi organ failure and even death. This virus has the potential to destabilize the economic and financial reality of the world’s population. The psycho social impact of Covid 19 cannot be overlooked or understated. The present article makes an attempt to evaluate the medico economic and environmental impact of Covid 19. The paper concluded by providing a message that this crisis does provide an opportunity to tackle some of the longstanding problems that have faced our societies, however, it is up to us whether we seize
this opportunity for change.
