Pollen samples were collected from agricultural terrace complexes
during the course of archaeological mitigation at Maunawili, Kailua, O'ahu.
Stratigraphic pollen samples were collected from cultural and basal
sediments along the terraces. Emphasis during pollen analysis was upon
recovery of pollen representing edible plants, which may have been grown on
the terraces. Basal samples were collected to provide paleoenvironmental
information.
