Dataset for: Prove of concept study for in-depth hotspot-level ABD / varietal diversity timeline comparison: dataset survey

The study was conducted in Cusco in 2022, which comprises 6871 observations collected along the districts of Challabamba, Colquepata, Huancarani, Paucartambo. A total number of 969 varieties were found in an in-situ study, followed by surveys among 351 farm-household. Using Survey123, we conducted a study to understand what potato varieties are in use across 27 Andean communities in southern Peru. To determine the conservation status of cultivars we used the overall cultivar frequency (OCF).
