Characterization of gut microbiota (hard feces) of adult rabbit females at different ages

Characterization of the gut microbiota (hard fecal samples) of adult rabbit females (n = 75) at ages 19.6, 31.6, 62.6 and 77.6 weeks. Data were obtained with the aim of identifying possible links between maternal microbiota and offspring survival (up to the 64 days of age) in a species known to perform coprophagous behavior (Combes et. al., 2014; https://doi.org/10.2527/jas.2013-6394).
