Methylome analysis of a isogenic line of Atlantic Salmon. Salmo salar breed:Fish line L3

WGBS on gonads from isogenic and normal diploid female salmon.In October 2017 gonads from 4 female diploid and 4 female isogenic fish from fish line L3 (average whole fish weight 35g) were sampled. Genomic DNA was extracted using Qiagen Blood and Tissue kit. Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) libraries were prepared from 500ng of genomic DNA using the method SPlinted Ligation Adapter Tagging (SPLAT) method (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27899585/). The resulting dual-indexed SPLAT libraries were sequenced together on a lane of NovaSeq S4 as 2x150 bp reads. Sequencing was done together with a bacteriophage PhiX DNA spike-in.
