Dryocola populorum LX212 Genome sequencing. Dryocola sp. LX212

In this study, a novel bacterial strain, LX212, was isolated from the rhizosphere of poplar under salt stress treatment. In order to ascertain the taxonomic status of LX212, genome sequencing was conducted as part of this study. Based on phylogenetic, genomic, phenotypic, chemotaxonomic, physiological, and biochemical features, the strain LX212 represented a novel species of the genus Dryocola, for which the name Dryocola populorum sp. nov. LX212 is proposed.
