资源简介:
GMTED2010 global elevation data in NetCDF format
Global Multi-resolution Terrain Elevation Data (GMTED2010), from the US Geological Survey (USGS), are available here in NetCDF4 format. The files here have been converted from the original ESRI ArcGrid files distributed by USGS. GMTED2010 replaces the older GTOPO30 elevation dataset. Earth's surface elvation above the WGS84 ellipsoid is computed by adding GMTED2010 and EGM96 heights. See the USGS GMTED2010 webpage for a description of the dataset.
GMTED2010 provides seven elevation variables (mean, median, maximum, minimum, stdev, breakline, subsample) at three spatial resolutions (30 arc-second, 15 arc-second, 7.5 arc-second).
EGM96, EGM2008 geoid data in NetCDF format
Earth Gravitational Model (EGM) global geoid heights, from NASA and the US National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), are available here in NetCDF4 format. The files here have been converted from GeoTiff format provided by Agisoft, based on original data from NGA.
EGM2008 provides two spatial resolutions (2.5 arc-minute, 1 arc-minute). EGM96 provides one spatial resolution (15 arc-minute), which has also been bilinearly interpolated here to 30 arc-second resolution to match the GMTED2010 grid. (Earth's surface elvation above the WGS84 ellipsoid is computed by adding GMTED2010 and EGM96 heights.)
Data processing
The NetCDF4 files in this repository were converted from their original source formats using GMTED2010-netcdf scripts.
