The analysis of the biostratigraphic content of the logs raised in the eight study sites revealed the presence of Turritella aspera in all sites, ranging from El Mhasseur in the east to Tildi in the west. However, despite a thorough investigation at the Dar Boubaker site, located at the easternmost end, no Turritella was found.
