资源简介:
This dataset comprises ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data collected from 40 women living with HIV (WLWH) experiencing persistent pain. Participants were recruited from three HIV clinics in London, with most identifying as Black African and an average age of 55.98 years. Each participant completed brief smartphone-based surveys three times daily over 14 consecutive days, capturing momentary experiences of pain intensity, pain interference, distress, and social contact (frequency and quality). The dataset was designed to explore within-person, time-sensitive associations between social contact variables and subsequent pain and distress outcomes, reflecting a biopsychosocial model of pain. Although no consistent associations were found, the data demonstrate the feasibility and acceptability of EMA methods in this population, with strong recruitment, response, and retention rates. This dataset provides a valuable resource for researchers interested in:Pain and psychosocial processes among women living with HIVTemporal and contextual influences on symptom experienceMethodological applications of EMA in chronic pain and health psychologyAll data were anonymised and analysed using multilevel modelling to account for within- and between-person variability.
