资源简介:
The data are contained in an NVivo (.nvpx) file. Source documents analyzed are transcripts of five regular public speeches normally delivered annually by Russian President Vladimir Putin, covering the years 2000-2020. The five speeches analyzed are: the New Year's Eve speech, the International Women's Day speech, the address to the Federation Council, the "Direct Line" audience call-in event, and the annual "Big Press Conference. 80 speeches in total are included, and exclude speeches by intervening President Medvedev (2008-2012). Gender-relevant speech fragments were located by searching a list of 55 search terms (Russian language) and manually coding each instance for the type of gendered speech (if any) included. Analysis in the dataset consists of coding speech fragments into five gender ideology categories: "Anti-gender/ ultraconservative," "Traditionalist," "Stereotypical/ Soviet," "Neutral," and "Promoting gender equality." See the attached coding category reference document for definition of the coding categories. <p> <p>
