Different gene expressions mediated by Bbd in Drosophila melanogaster after Metarhizium challenge

The wild-type W1118 and Bombardier Bbd mutant females of Drosophila melanogaster were topically infected with the spore suspension of the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium robertsii for 60 h. Control insects were immersed in 0.05% Tween 20 for 30 sec. The treated insects were kept at a high moisture condition for 24 h. After up to 60 h post treatments, insects were collected for RNA isolations and RNA-seq analysis. There were three biological replicates for each treatment.
