Synergy effects of co-application of biochar with plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) inoculant biofertilizer on microbial community in rhizosphere and endo-rhizosphere (root) of forage rice have been conducted under the short-term greenhouse condition. We performed in pot experiments here to evaluate the effects of biochar and biofertilizer and their combination on microbial community of rhizosphere and root in forage rice. The bacteria community of rhizosphere, non-rhizosphere soil and endo-rhizosphere of root determined using next-generation sequencing. Compared with the microbial community and diversity in rhizosphere and endo-rhizosphere of root, the effect of biochar application is more active in rhizosphere soil than those of endo-rhizosphere whereas, biofertilizer shows a more effective microbial alternation in endo-rhizosphere layer of root rather than those of rhizosphere soil.
