Aedes aegypti mosquitoes infected with wMel Wolbachia have been release as part of dengue control program in Cairns, Australia. For surveillance, mosquitoes were sampled around the areas of release in Cairns, at multiple time points. BioBloom Tools v2.3.2 (47) was used to identify Illumina reads belonging to Ae. aegypti (accession NC_035107.1), and these reads were excluded from uploaded files.
